A renovation of a sports hall in Slovenia.
The renovation aims to bring back into focus and reinforce the original architectural qualities of the hall. A restrained, natural colour palette increases daylight presence, accentuates the height and proportions of the space and unifies what was previously a fragmented interior. Wood and concrete are introduced as the primary materials, wood complementing the existing timber roof structure while improving the hall’s acoustic performance.
