In 2022, the Družina Publishing House celebrated its seventieth anniversary. That same year, their premises underwent renovation, where diverse content is created. It has long been their desire to have a chapel within the house. During the renovation, the chapel was set up in a suitable room that is easily accessible to everyone while maintaining a peaceful and prayerful atmosphere.

Holy Mass is celebrated in the chapel once a week, and the Angelus is prayed every day.
Like other rooms in the building, the chapel was designed by the architects Demšar Arhitekti: Gašper Demšar, Miha Maček, and co-author Kaja Hribšek, with artistic decoration by painter Mira Ličen Krmpotič. Družina also commissioned sculptor Mirsad Begič, who created a bronze knob for the chapel’s large entrance door. The architectural elements in the chapel are a unifying theme throughout all of the publishing house's renovated spaces, expressing the cyclical nature of life with its ups and downs.

Art critic Anamarija Stibilj Šajn described the Chapel of the Incarnation of the Word of God as an exceptional combination of art and spirituality, tastefully integrating the altar furnishings into the architectural ambiance.
